Maina Mwangi is Director, Innovations Incubation and University-Industry Linkages at Kenyatta University (KU). He served as Director, Grant Writing and Management (2011 – 2016), and Director, Research Support and Dissemination (2016-2020). He has served in various university boards and high level committees including the Center for International Partnerships and Collaborations, Endowment and Alumni Programmes, mentored at the Chandaria Business Innovations and Incubations center, and led the agribusiness training programme at the KU-UN Women African Center for Transformative and Inclusive Leadership.

He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Science and Technology and holds BSc and MSc (University of Nairobi, Kenya), PhD (University of Bonn, Germany) and Masters in Business Administration, Leadership and Sustainability (University of Cumbria, UK). Dr. Maina’s passion is in strengthening capacity of people and organizations to be effective in improving lives and contributing to a better world.
